I have decided after consuming nearly half a battenberg that it is actually one of my favourite cakes. Maybe one of the only cakes I could actually eat that much with as I feel thoroughly sick!!! Not a good feeling but well worth it as whilst eating my hunk of battenberg for all of 5 mins it felt a little bit like heaven!
